WALK IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE AṈANGU, GUIDED BY 38 YEARS OF EXPERTISE
Across five unforgettable days and four nights staying exclusively inside the World Heritage Listed Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park, you are invited on an immersive desert journey that celebrates ongoing culture, landscape, and connection.
Together, we will walk 54 kilometres between two global icons: from the soaring domes of Kata Tjuṯa to the monolithic and mesmerising Uluṟu. Each remarkable day ends with refreshments, feasting, and rest in cosy beds at our superb environmentally sensitive accommodation, plus reinvigoration at our Private Lodge’s Wellness Sanctuary.

DAY 1
Valley of the Winds Walk and Dinner in the Desert
Begin your journey with a warm Aṉangu Welcome before venturing deep into Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park. Walk among the towering domes of Kata Tjuṯa through the Valley of the Winds, where ancient riverbeds and 500-million-year-old formations tell stories of time and culture.
As evening falls, settle into our private camp tucked among the dunes. Enjoy sunset views across Kata Tjuṯa with a glass in hand, followed by dinner beneath a canopy of stars. Sleep soundly in a cosy canvas tent or under the desert sky, dreaming of the days ahead.

DAY 2
Southern Kata Tjuṯa Dune
You’ll wake before dawn to chase the magic of a desert sunrise - a privilege experienced by few this deep inside Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park. Enjoy breakfast in the glow of first light before continuing your journey across the southern Kata Tjuṯa dunes. After lunch beneath a shaded Wiltja shelter, you’ll arrive at Camp Two - a desert haven set between Uluṟu and Kata Tjuṯa.
End your day's adventure with afternoon tea, foot baths and sweeping desert views before sunset drinks, stargazing with your guides, and a peaceful sleep beneath canvas and a star-speckled outback sky.

DAY 3
Journey Closer to Uluṟu via Desert Trails
Sip hot coffee as dawn breaks over the desert before setting out through Mulga woodlands and open shrubland. Your guides will share stories of the land, and with a keen eye, you might spot animal tracks etched in the red earth. After a shaded lunch beneath a Wiltja shelter, you’ll continue towards Uluṟu, its form and colour shifting as you approach.
After arriving at Camp Three, your home for the next two nights, unwind in comfort with fine linen in thoughtfully-designed sleeping pods and enjoy soothing therapies in the Wellness Sanctuary. As evening falls, gather for shared dinner and Aṉangu storytelling beside the campfire.

DAY 4
Muṯitjulu Waterhole & Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Cultural Centre
Today, you’ll walk even closer to Uluṟu, tracing the storied path of the Liru and Lungkata Walks towards Muṯitjulu Waterhole. Along the way, you’ll pause to rest, reflect, and listen as Aṉangu Elders share stories passed down through generations. Standing at the base of Uluṟu is a deeply moving moment - a chance to feel the energy and spirit of this sacred place.
Later, you may explore more of the base walk or visit the Cultural Centre before returning to the Lodge for a final shared dinner and reflections beneath the desert sky.

DAY 5
Relax and return to Yulara
On our last day together, stay curled up in bed a little longer, or soak in the final embracing sunrise of this great walk. Feast on a long, lazy breakfast while socialising and celebrating your groups accomplishment - you did it. Take time to indulge in the Lodge's exclusive location before we pack up, absorbing vistas of Uluṟu rarely seen like this.
After a late check-out, we walk a short distance to transport that takes us back to Yulara. We deliver you to your hotel or the airport in time for departing flights and bid farewell, until we walk again.
